What You Will Need to Obtain a Zoning Permit

APPLY ONLINE for a Zoning permit. 

Before submitting a completed online Zoning permit application, we recommend contacting the New Milford Building Department as our process has changed and the Building Department may require sign-off from our office, as well as other Departments within the Town.

1. Complete an online Zoning permit application.

2. A plot plan or survey will need to be uploaded indicating the placement of the structure, with the dimensions of the structure and the distances from said structure to all property lines. 

Once submitted, the application will be reviewed by Zoning personnel.  Please allow a minimum of five (5) business days to process the application. After the permit has been reviewed the Zoning office will contact you via email if there is any additional informaiton that is required or if a Zoning permit can be issued.
