Beginning March 17, 2020 the Inland Wetlands office will be open by appointment only, if necessary, to the public 9am - 12pm, Monday - Friday. Staff will be available by telephone or email between the hours of 8am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday. Thank you for your cooperation, patience and understanding during this time.
The Inland Wetlands Commission regularly scheduled meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7 pm in the E. Paul Martin Room, 2nd floor of the Town Hall (unless otherwise noted).

The New Milford Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission (IWC) was established in 1988. The IWC carries out the requirements of State Statutes to assure proper use, protection and maintenance of the Town’s freshwater wetlands and watercourses.
The Enforcement Officer performs site inspections, reviews permit related documents and is available for consultation by appointment.
