Storm relief and resources for New Milford residents:  A public water supply remains open at the New Milford Facilities Maintenance building located at 20 Young’s Field Road adjacent to the recycling center. Shower access is still available at New Milford Fitness & Aquatics Club at 130 Grove Street during normal business hours. Restoration by the utility companies continues. All downed wires should still be treated as live wires. Any fire, police, or medical emergencies should still be handled by dialing 911.

The Inland Wetlands Commission regularly scheduled meetings will be held on the 2nd Thursday of the month in the E. Paul Martin Room, 2nd floor of the Town Hall at 7pm (unless otherwise noted).

The New Milford Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Commission (IWC) was established in 1988. The IWC carries out the requirements of State Statutes to assure proper use, protection and maintenance of the Town’s freshwater wetlands and watercourses.

The Enforcement Officer performs site inspections, reviews permit related documents and is available for consultation by appointment.
