Department of Economic & Community Development is the state's economic development agency. They administer the state's financial assistance and tax incentive programs that are focused on spurring job creation and capital investment in Connecticut.

CT Innovations is the state's quasi-public investment arm that makes risk capital investments in technology companies. Their programs are focused on early-stage technology companies. 

Small Business Administration is a federal agency that provides a variety of programs and support services to small businesses throughout the country. Their programs and services include financial assistance, counseling, training, and contracting assistance. 

University of Connecticut Office of Economic Development is focused on expanding opportunities for inventors, entrepreneurs, existing businesses and industry partners. They offer a number of programs and services and can help with business development, marketing, licensing, IP capabilities and research. 

Procurement Technology Assistance Program provides marketing and procurement assistance to Connecticut businesses interested in selling their goods or services to federal, state, or local governments.

Connecticut Economic Resource Center is a public-private partnership that provides research, marketing and economic development resources. They can provide assistance with site location, licensing, demographics, and more.
